The marathon of obtaining an immigration visa for Isaac Ghalibaf, the son of Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, has finally concluded in his favour with a court ruling in Canada, paving the way for him to receive a visa to Canada.
Isaac Ghalibaf’s immigration case has been ongoing since 2019 and has turned into a lengthy process due to heightened security checks in Canada.
Eventually, when the review process for this case prolonged due to security issues, Isaac Ghalibaf filed a complaint against Canada’s ministers of immigration and public safety.
“Poulton” is the lawyer who has filed the complaint on behalf of Isaac Ghalibaf and has been pursuing the case.
Finally, in November of this year, the court announced that the Canadian immigration department must resolve Isaac Ghalibaf’s immigration visa application within 60 days.
Now, the court has issued a ruling in favour of the son of Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, making the path for him to obtain a Canadian immigration visa easier.
This is not the first case related to the Ghalibaf family that has been reported in the media recently.
Last year, the story of the Ghalibaf family’s trip to Turkey made headlines, which became known as “Sismoni Gate” and continues to raise questions among the public. For instance, during the 22nd of Bahman rally this year, some asked Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf about the reasons for this trip, and the Ghalibaf family has yet to provide a clear response to the public.
Other issues reported in recent years in Iranian media linked to the name Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and his controversial family include the “astronomical properties” case, the Yas Holding, and the charity associated with the wife of Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
